Siliguri (West Bengal), Dec 4 (IANS) Payas Jain and Anusha Kutamble were named the top seeds respectively of the sub-junior boys and sub-junior girls section at the 78th Cadet and Sub-Junior Nationals here on Sunday.
Jain (255 points) was followed by Chinmay Somiya. The third seed was given to Yashansh Malik in sub-junior boys category.
In the sub-junior girls section, Anusha (345 points) has won three of five titles in the recent zonal tournament.
Swastika Ghosh was seeded No.2, followed by Vanshika Bhargava.
Preyesh Suresh Raj, who was the winner of all five zonal events this season with the maximum of 450 points, is the top seed in cadet boys and Shanmugama follows him as the No.2 seed.
The third seeding went to Jash Modi. Rudra Narayan Ghosh is the fourth seed.
Kavyashree Baskar is the top seed in the cadet girls section, ahead of Prithoki Chakraborty. Lakshita Narang is No.3 seed.
