London, the official venue for the Championships since its inception in 1877, is well known for its grey, inclement weather. It rains almost all year round in the English capital, and fans have already seen several matches postponed and even played over two days this year courtesy the darkness and the rain!

Most notably of those was, of course, Novak Djokovic’s match against Sam Querrey being played over two days – and eventually ending with the defending champion crashing out.

Centre Court may have a retractable roof, but not all players play on there – and fans on Courts 1, 2 and beyond need to shelter themselves from the deluge. And what better way to do that than with the Wimbledon umbrella?

In its iconic colours of purple and green, the umbrella can shelter fans even waiting in line for the opportunity to see their favourite players on court. And of course, with the monsoon season now underway in India, the umbrella could come in handy here too!
