Madrid, July 7 (IANS) World No.2 tennis player Garbiñe Muguruza says she is looking forward with excitement to the Canadian Open in Montreal and the Rio Olympics.
The Spanish star wrote on her online blog on Thursday that she will be travelling within a few days to Los Angeles to resume training and to prepare for the upcoming competitive weeks, reports Efe.
Muguruza, who suffered an early exit from the ongoing Wimbledon, also expressed her delight to be part of the Olympics for the first time in her career.
After the Olympics, the French Open defending champion will participate in the Tennis Masters Cincinnati and will then start preparing for the US Open.
