Venus and Serena Williams: The decade's unstoppable force at Wimbledon

London, June 19 (IANS): The Williams sisters – Venus and Serena – dominated the Wimbledon women's singles tournament in the decade ending 2013 by winning the title thrice each since 2004.

The All-England Championships, which get underway Monday, have seen Venus winning the title in 2005, 2007 and 2008 (in addition to 2000 and 2001), and Serena in 2009, 2010 and 2012 (in addition to 2002 and 2003).

Maria Sharapova (2004), Amelie Mauresmo (2006), Petra Kvitova (2011) and Marion Bartoli (2013) are the other champions.
