Pacific Rim Championships 2024 Results - Artistic Gymnastics: Team USA and Yul Moldauer win gold in all-around team and individual competitions| Day 1

Day 1 of the Artistic Gymnastics at the Pacific Rim Championships 2024 concluded on April 26 at the Coliseo El Pueblo in Cali, Colombia.

Two-time World Championships bronze medalist Yul Moldauer from the USA clinched the gold medal in the men’s all-around with scores of 14.550 on the floor, 13.450 on pommel horse, 14.150 on rings, 14.800 on parallel bars, and 13.400 on the horizontal bar.

While Yul Moldauer achieved the best score at the Pacific Rim Championships, Cameron Bock and Kai Uemura of the USA collected the second (84.150) and third-highest (80.800) totals in the all-around respectively.

However, because of the rule allowing only two athletes per nation to earn a medal in one event, Uemura missed out on the bronze despite a strong performance. Rene Cournoyer of Canada ultimately claimed the bronze medal after securing a total of 80.750.

Owing to strong performances from Moldauer, Bock, and Uemura, the USA won the men’s all-around team event ahead of Canada and Australia, who earned silver and bronze medals at the Pacific Rim Championships 2024.
