Bucky Lasek stole a late win in the vert final of the X-Games meeting in Munich, whilst Curren Caples claimed victory in the Skateboard Park event.
Pedro Barros was looking to make it four successive X-Games wins in Munich. But things don’t always work out.
The Brazilian did recover and he was on course for victory.
17-year-old Curren Caples fancied his chances and he stole the win with a total of 81 points to Barros’ 76.
It was more of a battle of the veterans in the vert final.
33-year-old Pierre-Luc Gagnon produced the goods.
With just one competitor left, victory looked to be Gagnon’s.
But that one man was Bucky Lasek.
The 40-year-old American was tenth and last ahead of his final run…
Magic.
90 points for lucky Bucky who went home with the top prize.
