Kevin Durant claps back at Charles Barkley for latest remarks in a long standing feud - “This ain’t gettin tiring chuck?”
The feud between Kevin Durant and Charles Barkley appears to be far from settled. When Barkley criticized Durant recently during an interview, the Phoenix Suns superstar clapped back at the TNT analyst.
Former NBA player Charles Barkley has earned a reputation as a bit of a critic. He is well-known for making some hilarious comments about players and games on the panel of 'Inside the NBA'. However, his critique has often come from a place of experience given his own reputation as a former NBA superstar.
Unfortunately, his words have often missed the mark with Kevin Durant. The Phoenix Suns superstar has often been criticized by Barkley for not doing enough.
Although there hasn't been much happening on this front as of late, Barkley and Durant are apparently still feuding with each other.
During a recent interview, Charles Barkley commented on Durant by saying:
"He's very sensitive. Great player. He's part of that generation who think he can't be criticized. He's never looked in the mirror and says 'Man, is that a fair criticism?'"
Barkley's remarks appear to be well-intended. However, his words drew the ire of Durant, who responded to the comment on Twitter by saying:
"This ain’t gettin tiring chuck? I’ll never respect the words that come out ya mouth fam just deal with it."
Durant has often taken a "devil may care" approach to situations involving critics. However, given the pre-existing dynamic with Barkley, Durant appeared to be particularly annoyed with the NBA legend's remarks.
The exchange became the latest addition to the long-standing feud between the two basketball icons. Whether they will bury the hatchet at some point in the future remains up to absolute speculation.

Charles Barkley has made some rather harsh comments regarding Kevin Durant in the past. However, in light of most events, Barkley hasn't said much outside the realm of reality.
Comments regarding Durant not being able to win as the "bus driver" may be a bit far-fetched. KD was one of the best players in the league during his days with the Golden State Warriors.
That being said, the Dubs also feature one of the greatest rosters ever assembled. Hence, there is enough material for a discourse on the same.
Although Durant tried to change this by heading over to Brooklyn, the superstar was met with injuries and disappointment in the playoffs. This eventually laid the foundation for the trade drama in the 2022 offseason, which eventually led to a trade to Phoenix ahead of the 2022-23 trade deadline.
Overall, Barkley's comments haven't been far off the mark. But Durant has very clearly viewed the situation differently.
