#3 Sergio Ramos (22 titles)

Widely regarded as one of the greatest Real Madrid captains of all-time, Sergio Ramos stood out as an excellent defender and captain for the club. Ramos spent 16 years at Real Madrid after he joined the club from Sevilla in 2005, and was part of the club's greatest era in the 21st century.

Ramos made 671 appearances for Los Blancos and scored 101 goals, making him one of the club's highest-scoring defenders of all-time. The Spanish defender won 22 trophies in Los Blancos colors, the second highest total of any player in the club's history.

Ramos won the UEFA Champions League four times and the Spanish La Liga five times. He also won the FIFA Club World Cup four times and UEFA Super Cup thrice. Ramos won the Copa del Rey twice and the Supercopa de Espana four times.

#2 Paco Gento (23 titles)

Born Francisco Gento, Paco Gento was a left winger for Real Madrid between 1953 and 1971. He died at 88 years of age on 18th January 2022.

Gento is regarded as one of the greatest Spanish players of all-time and became the honorary president of Real Madrid after the demise of Alfredo Di Stefano.

As a player, Gento dazzled on the pitch for Los Blancos and remains the only player in football history to win the European Cup/UEFA Champions League six times. He became the club's captain in 1967 after Di Stefano left the club.

Gento won 23 titles as a Real player, including the European Cup on six occasions. He also won La Liga 12 times and the Copa del Rey on two occasions. Gento also won the Intercontinental Cup once and Latin Cup twice with Los Blancos.

Brazilian left-back Marcelo is the current captain of Real Madrid and also their most decorated player. The defender has been with Real since 2007 after a move from Fluminense.

Marcelo has made 538 appearances in a Real Madrid shirt and has won 23 trophies with the club. The Brazilian defender played an important role in all of the title-winning campaigns. He has won the UEFA Champions League four times and La Liga five times, as well as the FIFA Club World Cup on four occasions. Marcelo has won the Copa del Rey twice, Supercopa de Espana five times and UEFA Super Cup thrice.

Marcelo is on course to break Gento's record in his last season as a Real Madrid player as Los Blancos are currently three points clear at the top in La Liga.
