With Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 now live, NPCs have taken their respective places on the island. Unlike last season, which had almost two dozen NPCs, this one only has 12. This does not take into consideration the various boss NPCs located in and around the island.

That said, while their numbers in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 are rather limited, they are all useful. Players can purchase weapons, items, and services from there for a small fee. In certain situations, these can be a lifesaver.

Here are the assigned locations of various NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, along with their wares:

• CRZ-8 - Can be found at Bamboo Circle, located northwest of Mega City: Key (100) and Duel CRZ-8 (defeat for a reward)
• Evie - Can be found a Knotty Nets: Tactical Pistol (100) and Activate Rift (100)
• Garrison - Can be found at Watery Watch, located at the edge of the map, far south of Shattered Slabs: Maven Auto Shotgun (250) and Hire Garrison (100)

Which Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 NPCs are the most useful?

Looking at the NPCs and what they offer in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, Mizuki is by far the most useful of the lot. She sells the Kinetic Blade for 250 gold bars and Chug Splashes. This wombo-combo of items can be bought and used efficiently to push opponents back into combat or hold ground when under fire.

While this sounds counter-intuitive, the boss NPCs that spawn at certain POIs are also useful. Upon defeating them, players can obtain a Mythic weapon and a Vault Keycard. Suffice to say, this will allow them to open the vault and gain a lot of loot during the early stages of the match.
