Eren Yeager's ODM gear arrives in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Eren Yeager's omni-directional mobility (ODM) gear has arrived with Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. The popular Attack on Titan character was released into the video game on Friday, March 10, and is featured in the new Battle Pass.

Many anime fans are excited to see Eren in the game and can't wait to unlock him. However, aside from the cosmetic items that were added to the subscription service, Epic Games will also release several gameplay items during the collaboration.

Considering that the video game developer has showcased the Fortnite ODM gear in the trailer for the new season, we expect it to be released very soon. As per Fortnite leakers, Epic will release a fresh grappler with the collaboration, but we might get more items as well.

Fortnite ODM gear comes with Eren Yeager and the new season

In Attack on Titan, ODM gear allows greater mobility when facing Titans in combat. It was developed by humans and includes a variety of items, from grappling hooks to hand grips.

Considering that Epic Games has already released a grappler several times, it's no surprise that it will be released again. This time, however, the item will be part of the Fortnite ODM gear and will be released with the anime collaboration.

Even before Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 was released, leakers claimed that Epic Games would release a new grappler. It turns out that the video game developer has prepared a Mythic Grappler that will be part of the Fortnite ODM gear.

At the moment, it is unknown exactly how this item is going to work. However, Epic has showcased this gear in several places and there is a good chance that it's been added to the game data. Due to this, the grappler's stats may be revealed very soon.

Veteran Fortnite players already know that Epic Games has released a Mythic Grappler as part of another collaboration in the past.

During Season X, the Fortnite developer teamed up with DC Comics to bring Batman skins to the popular video game. The crossover also resulted in a special item that improved mobility and allowed players to redeploy their gliders.

Eren Yeager is a secret Battle Pass skin in Chapter 4 Season 2. Due to this, players cannot unlock it right away. The anime character is currently unavailable, but will become obtainable later on.

When Eren Yeager comes out, Epic Games will most likely make his ODM gear available as well. However, this may not happen before May as the current season is scheduled to end in early June.

Besides the Mythic Grappler, Epic may add a few more mobility items with the release of the anime skin. Considering that we are currently on the first day of the new season, Fortnite leakers will probably release more information regarding ODM gear very soon.
