Khabib Nurmagomedov's cousin has a message for UFC president Dana White

UFC Hall-of-Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov's cousin Umar Nurmagomedov has issued a message to UFC president Dana White.

Umar Urmagomedov, the highly-skilled and talented bantamweight fighter, recently made his mark at UFC Fight Night on January 14, 2023, where he faced off against Raoni Barcelos at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, United States and secured a victory in the very first round via KO.

Eager to continue his winning streak, Nurmagomedov is already preparing for his next fight and has issued a message to UFC President Dana White. He is calling for a new opponent.

With his record of 16-0 and impressive performance at UFC Fight Night, Umar is confident that he is ready to take on any challenger and prove himself to be one of the top bantamweight fighters in the world.

Nurmagomedov took to Twitter and wrote:

Khabib Nurmagomedov's cousin brother Umar Nurmagomedov is a Russian MMA fighter who is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship's bantamweight division. He has also competed in the Eagle Fighting Championship and the Professional Fighters League in the past.

The 27-year-old currently trains at the renowned training gym American Kickboxing Academy (AKA).

Khabib 'The Eagle' Nurmagomedov has already retired from fighting and is now leaving mixed martial arts for good. The former UFC lightweight champion stated on Instagram that he is leaving his coaching gig to spend more time with his family.

Notifying his friends and followers of his separation from MMA coaching, the UFC icon composed a heartfelt message. Khabib Nurmagomedov wrote:

"The year (previous) certainly turned out to be a very busy and successful. Take care of yourself brothers. I hope my decision is only for the best, a big hug to you all. Thank you all, you were a big reason for my success in sports."

Nurmagomedov departed from the sport at the pinnacle of his abilities. He extended his record to 29-0 with a submission victory against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in October 2020. It was also his third successful lightweight championship defense in a row.
