During the Super Bowl on Sunday, there will be many new commercials starring celebrities. In one of those, Alicia Silverstone will reprise her role as Cher from the Clueless movie.

With one shopping bag in each hand, Cher walks down the aisle as the school bell rings and the classic yellow plaid outfit enters the picture. She brings them to the front of the room and places them there before turning to face the camera.

She fixes a steady look as the first chords of "Alright" by Supergrass start to play.

"Don't bother," she commands. "Your gal has returned."

The 30-second commercial will air on Sunday during the Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

Every year, the Super Bowl draws the largest TV audience, with the NFL estimating that 208 million people watched it last year. With that many viewers, advertisements command a high price. In 2023, they will sell for a record-breaking $7 million for 30 seconds of airtime.

However, actor Brian Cox, who portrays Logan Roy on HBO's Succession, exclusively told Us Weekly that he was unaware that the game day advertisements are regarded as a significant piece of pop culture history.
