Is Odell Beckham Jr. heading to Jets? Robert Saleh publicly addresses speculation as NY rounds up star WR for Aaron Rodgers

Odell Beckham Jr. has been linked with a move to the New York Jets throughout the offseason. While the Jets are expected to bring in Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers, many predict OBJ will come along with him.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh was recently asked about the franchise's pursuit of OBJ, and he gave an honest answer to the current situation. Here's what Saleh said:

"Yeah, there’s always going to be interest with any great player, obviously, but things have to work out, Obviously, there’s a whole lot of different things.”
"You know ACL’s nowadays, those are easily fixable. He’s been a fantastic receiver in this league. Everything you hear about him, he’s a phenomenal person. Again, it’s just something that you’re always going to turn over every stone."
"We’re always going to study every player on the market to make sure that we’re not missing out on an opportunity to add a good player.”

The New York Jets recently traded Elijah Moore to the Cleveland Browns after they signed Mecole Hardman and Allen Lazard via free agency. The Jets' offense is stacked, and adding Odell Beckham Jr. could make them a serious contender upon the arrival of Aaron Rodgers.

Since the Jets already have numerous elite receivers, OBJ can ease back into his role after missing nearly a year due to an ACL injury. This is a perfect fit for both parties, but nothing is certain as of yet.

Not only the New York Jets, but teams like the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs are also in the race to land Odell Beckham Jr. The former Los Angeles Rams receiver was expected to be back last season, but unfortunatelyy, he wasn't able to recover in time.

He is now fully recovered and ready to go, so we should see him sign with a team soon. Having Aaron Rodgers in New York may entice OBJ to sign with the Jets because he is built for big markets, but no team can be ruled out for the time being.
