It's a stacked card!

5 most anticipated matches from WWE Money in the Bank 2019

Money In The Bank has always been one of the most awaited Pay Per Views of the year, simply because of the Money In The Bank Ladder Matches.

After all, the MITB briefcase is WWE's version of an infinity stone. Whoever latches on to that briefcase wields a tremendous opportunity to demand a title match whenever they want, wherever they want.

With that being said, here are the 5 most awaited matches from WWE Money In The Bank 2019.

Eight women will battle it out for the Women's Money In The Bank briefcase.

This year's MITB extravaganza will feature eight female superstars from RAW and SmackDown LIVE, who would risk their life and limb for the chance to secure a guaranteed championship opportunity in the following year.

Ember Moon (SmackDown Live), Mandy Rose (SmackDown Live), Dana Brooke (RAW), Nikki Cross (RAW), Bayley (SmackDown Live), Natalya (RAW), Naomi (RAW) and Carmella (SmackDown Live) will be the eight participants, out of which, only one can secure a lifetime opportunity by winning the match itself.

Honestly, the Women's MITB Ladder Match would have been way up this list if the buildup to the Pay Per View was interesting enough for all of these women involved. The only reason why this match is on this list is because of the stipulation itself as MITB Ladder matches don't happen every single week.

It was interesting to see Nikki Cross replace Alexa Bliss as a participant in the MITB Ladder Match when it was announced that Five Feet of Fury was not medically cleared to complete.

But other than that, the buildup to the Pay Per View for this particular match has been quite unremarkable. As it is part of a yearly tradition, we can't wait to find out which female superstar will win that contract and to witness the new scenarios that will branch out in the future...

Who do you think will walk out with the Women's MITB Briefcase this Sunday? Let us know in the comments section below.

#4. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens

KO will face Kofi Kingston for the prestigious WWE Championship.

It was truly a dream come true for Kofi and millions of WWE fans when the Dreadlocked Dynamo defeated Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35, in what could only be described as a fairytale victory.

But the dream began to fade away when SmackDown Live refused to move on from Kofi's victory at WrestleMania 35. For a couple of weeks, fans kept buzzing about who would potentially face Kofi Kingston for that WWE Title.

Kevin Owens was the man that stepped in to fulfil this purpose. The main objective for Owens was to point out how Kofi is WWE Champion only because of the New Day, and that the Prize Fighter would serve as a reminder that the dream is over.

While it is up to the fans to decide how Kofi Kingston has been faring as WWE Champion, we could witness a great match between these two competitors at Money In The Bank.

Who will walk out as champion following Money In The Bank: Kofi Kingston or Kevin Owens?

#3. Raw & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans (Raw Women’s Title Match)

Becky Lynch faces Lacey Evans as she pulls double duty at Money in the nank this Sunday.

The reason why people are clamouring behind this particular contest instead of Lynch vs. Flair during the same night is all because of Lacey Evans.

We have seen Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair several times before, and while the two women are destined to put on a stellar match whenever they step in the ring to face each other, Lacey Evans brings a certain degree of freshness to the RAW Women's Division.

On top of that, whether you like it or not, Lacey Evans has a gimmick that makes her stand out from the rest of the Women's roster. Her motivations are purely driven by what the character would do, which is a representation of a Sassy Southern Belle which plays into a larger stereotype.

Even if Becky Lynch has the odds in her favour after WrestleMania 35, the main purpose of the match is to give Lacey Evans a stepping stone to display what she can pull off in the ring.

The question remains the same. Who will walk out with the title? Will Lynch prevail or will Evans get the title win this early in her main roster career?

#2. Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles

The Beast Slayer faces The Phenomenal One with the Universal Championship at stake.

After pulling off a clever victory against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins now stands atop the mountain of Monday Night RAW.

Coincidentally, AJ Styles had been on top of SmackDown Live for a long period of time. Just when it seemed there was nothing else left for the Phenomenal One to accomplish over at the Blue Brand, he was drafted over to Monday Night RAW.

It made all the sense for these two competitors to face each other at Money In The Bank. The selling point for a program between Styles and Rollins is the potential in-ring prowess at display that millions of fans would witness this Sunday.

Other than that, the buildup to this match hasn't been impressive at all. Perhaps the main reason behind it is that this won't be the last time we will see Styles and Rollins square off with each other as rivals in the ring.

WWE has a poor track record of maintaining buzz when it comes to babyface vs. babyface feuds. So it is very likely that one of these two men might turn heel this Sunday. Judging from the buildup itself, AJ Styles would be a prime candidate for that to happen.

Seth Rollins or AJ Styles? Who would you put your money on?

#1. Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Eight men battle it out to win the Men's MITB Ladder Match this Sunday.

Unlike the Women's MITB Ladder Match, most of the men participating, in this case, have had individually defining moments on the road to Money In The Bank.

The stakes actually feel quite legitimate this time around.

On the final RAW before WWE Money in the Bank, Sami Zayn took Strowman’s place in the bout by defeating The Monster Among Men in a highly entertaining Falls Count Anywhere Match. The other competitors from RAW are Ricochet, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin.

On SmackDown LIVE, it was announced that Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor, Randy Orton and up-and-comers Ali and Andrade will represent the blue brand.

Just by looking at the picture above, you can tell that this is a great mix of male participants for this year's MITB Ladder Match. Every competitor brings something different to the table.

Who do you think will walk out with the Men's MITB Briefcase this Sunday? As always, sound off in the comments section below.
