WWE News: Becky Lynch legitimately hurt at Extreme Rules

What’s the story?

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins won their match at WWE Extreme Rules, but only she walked out of the pay-per-view with her title. However, The Man seems to have suffered quite a bump on her head during the match.

In case you didn’t know…

Lynch and Rollins put their titles on the line against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans at WWE Extreme Rules last night. The couple managed to retain their titles beating their opponents, but only one of them walked out with the title still in their hands.

Brock Lesnar cashed in his Money in the Banks contract at the pay-per-view after the main event. The Beast Incarnate came out accompanied by his advocate, Paul Heyman and a referee after Rollins pinned Corbin to retain the titles.

Two German suplexes and one F5 is all it took for Brock to keep Seth down for the three count. The already exhausted star was left helpless and had to walk out of the arena with The Man accompanying him.

The heart of the matter

Becky Lynch might still be the WWE Raw Women's champion, but she was legitimately hurt at the pay-per-view last night. While it's not going to keep her out of action for a long time, this would be the second time in the space of a week that The Man was hurt at the hands of Lacey Evans.

The Sassy Southern Belle delivered a brutal punch at the end of Monday Night Raw as well when she attacked The Man and Seth Rollins along with Baron Corbin. A fan captured a close-up photo of Becky when she was helping Rollins leave the ring, and the bump was evident on her forehead.

There is a very good chance that the bump came from the chair accidentally hitting her on the head.

What’s next?

Now with Lacey Evans out of the picture for the title, it will be interesting to see if Ronda Rousey or Sasha Banks challenge her or if WWE have someone else in mind to be her next opponent.
