The last (20th) edition of Asia archery championships was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. While India failed to win any of the five categories (men’s individual, women’s individual, men’s team, women’s team and mixed team) in the recurve division, they did win two categories in the compound division. Abhishek Varma (men’s individual) and Trisha Deb, Parveena and Jyothi Surekha Vennam (women’s team) were the champions.
