Mexico's archery team will prepare for the 2015 season at a nearly three-week training camp in Seoul, the Mexican Olympic Committee said. Mexico's team hopes to garner enough points in international competitions to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, reports Xinhua.

The squad headed by Aida Roman -- 2012 London Olympics silver medal winner, indoor world champion at Nimes, France, and Mexico's top archer, leaves Friday for Seoul. The coach of the Mexican Federation of Archery, Leonardo Pineda, said Thursday the team is composed of Alejandra Valencia, Gabriela Bayardo, Gina Gonzalez, Alba Murillo and Mariana Garcia.

Also accompanying the team are Mexican archers Juan Rene Serrano, Luis Alvarez, Orlando Uribe, Luis Eduardo Velez, Pedro Vivas and Cesar Urquidez.

Mexico's archery team will remain in Seoul until January 14.
