China's Dong Bin won the men's triple jump gold at the athletics World Indoor Championships and became the third Chinese athlete ever to win a world indoor title.

Dong, the world leader in the season with 17.41 metres, took an early lead with 17.18m and then extended his lead with a 17.29m effort in the third attempt before he leaped 17.33m in the penultimate round to grab the title here on Saturday, reports Xinhua.
