Armand Gustav "Mondo" Duplantis is a Swedish-American pole vaulter who holds both the world outdoor record (6.25 meters) and indoor record (6.22 meters). A two-time Olympic champion (2020 and 2024), he is also a two-time World outdoor champion (2022 and 2023) and a two-time indoor champion. Additionally, he is the current European champion and Diamond League champion.


Duplantis won the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships and has claimed the European U20 title, World U20 title, and multiple Diamond League titles. Named World Male Athlete of the Year in 2020 and 2022, he has cleared six meters or higher 60 times, the most in history.
