American track and field athlete Rachel Glenn competes in high jump and 400-meter hurdles events. She was born on April 17, 2002, and went to Woodrow Wilson Classical High School. 400- meters was her initial forte, but she switched to high jumping in 2018. In 2021, she enrolled at the University of South Carolina and won the NCAA and SEC Outdoor Championships that same year.
At the John McDonnell Invitational Meet in Gainesville, Florida, in April 2023, she raced the 400-meter hurdles in 54.91 seconds, a US-leading and career-best time, for the first time since 2022. Glenn switched to the University of Arkansas in 2023 and she most recently achieved a personal best, championship record, and college best performance of 200 meters when she won the NCAA Indoor Championships in March 2024.
