Usain Bolt holds the world records in both the 100 metres and the 200 metres. He clocked 9.58 and 19.19 seconds respectively at the World Championships in Berlin four years back to set the records, but the Jamaican feels that he can outdo his own records in Moscow next month.

“Yes, of course. It would require a technically almost perfect race, and for the weather conditions to be good but I’m focused on getting myself in a physical condition where I’m capable of doing it,” Bolt said about the 100m record.

Bolt, however, is more interested in the 200m, and feels there’s more scope to break the record in that event. Bolt sounded confident when he said he could cover a distance 200m under 19 seconds.

He said: “The 200m world record would be the one I’d really love to break again, to see if it’s maybe even possible to get it under 19 seconds. That would be something special.”
