The Badminton World Federation has come out and announced that it was suspending all tournaments until April 26 because of the coronavirus, effectively ending the qualification process for the Tokyo Olympics.
This decision might affect some of the top Indian players, including former World No.1 SainaNehwal and Kidambi Srikanth, who might not make the cut. The World Body has not yet revealed whether it will change the qualification rules in these situations where the World is in lockdown.
