Mike Miles and Damion Baugh have the 17th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs looking like an NCAA title contender. College basketball analyst Jon Rothstein believes the TCU duo deserves some more respect.

TCU scored an impressive 88-87 win on the road on Wednesday night against the 19th-ranked Baylor Bears, cementing itself as a legit contender in college basketball.

TCU got outstanding play from upperclassmen guards Mike Miles and Damion Baugh. Miles stole the show, finishing with 33 points on 12-of-21 shooting. Baugh was impressive as well, posting 15 points, seven assists and two steals in the signature win.

"The best backcourt in America that nobody really knows about --- Mike Miles and Damion Baugh --- just sent a message," Rothstein tweeted.

Mike Miles and Damion Baugh have the TCU Horned Frogs (13-1, 2-0 Big 12) firing on all cylinders. After Wednesday night's statement win against Baylor (10-4, 0-2), snapping the Bears' 13-game home winning streak, TCU is starting to climb the rankings in college basketball.

The heart of the Horned Frogs has been junior guard Mike Miles. At 6-foot-2, Miles is a talented floor general who overpowers opponents with his physicality. Through his first eight games of the 2022-23 season, Miles was putting up respectable numbers, averaging 17.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

In his last three games, Miles has put his team on his back, averaging 25.7 ppg while shooting 58.5%.

Right alongside him has been senior guard Damion Baugh, averaging 11.7 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 4.7 apg and 2.7 spg.

The TCU Horned Frogs are starting to catch fire at the perfect time of the year. With an impressive conference win to add to their resume, TCU could become a force in college basketball.
