SMAAASH- one of India’s acclaimed gaming and entertainment centers had organized #SadParty for all the singles in the town.

The ‘SAD Party’ (named after Singles Awareness Day) was launched with the aim of making single people feel included on the widely celebrated Valentine’s Day. The party kick-started at 11 am on the 14th and continued till the 15th of February. With free games, food, drinks and foot-tapping music by the DJ, the ‘SAD Party’ helped the singles witness a gala time. The SAD Party took place at 4 different locations in Mumbai, simultaneously. To name the locations: Kamala Mills- Lower Parel, R-City Mall- Ghatkopar, Korum Mall- Thane, Seawoods Grand Central- Navi Mumbai.

Commenting on the same SMAAASH’ s Head of  Abhishek Agarwal said that, “SMAAASH is all about having a good time regardless of your relationship status. We knew the content pushed by brands during Valentine's season would be directed at couples, but the consumers are mostly singles. Additionally, when got to know that Valentine's Day fell on a Thursday, we knew most of the singles would face typical Friday night partying problems like securing stag entries. That's where we as a brand decided to own the singles space and celebrate singlehood to break the clutter of mushy ideas through leveraging the international Singles Awareness Day”.
