LSU women's basketball star Flau'jae Johnson hyped superstar singer and rapper Lil Wayne in her latest Instagram post. Wayne, who has an estimated net worth of $170,000,000 according to Celebrity Net Worth, dropped a new album, "Tha Carter VI" on Friday.
Following the release, Johnson took to her Instagram story on Friday to share the album's cover photo, which is a four-photo collage of Wayne. Some of the pics featured Wayne rocking a custom LSU face cap.
"Legendary," Johnson captioned the story.

A rising rapper signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation, Johnson has collaborated with top artists, including Wayne himself. Her song with Wayne, "Came Out A Beast" remains the LSU standout guard's most popular song yet, with 2.8 million views on YouTube alone.
Meanwhile, Wayne's "Tha Carter VI," which is a 19-track album and features popular artists like BigXthaPlug, Jelly Roll, Big Sean, Bono and 2 Chainz, is a follow-up of "Carter V," which was released seven years ago. Released in 2004, "Carter" was the original album of the rapper's signature musical series.
Flau'jae Johnson honors her parents with latest song
LSU star Flau'jae Johnson made a touching tribute to her parents, Kia Brooks and her late father Jason Johnson, also known as Camoflauge.
Johnson dropped a snippet of her latest song, "Remember When," on her Instagram page on Friday. It talked about how her dad, who was killed six months before she was born, and her mom inspired her to become the success story that she is today.
"Drop a 🪖 once you’ve streamed 'Remember When' Big love to Mama 👑 and Pops 🙏🏿 — none of this happens without you," she wrote.
Johnson began her music career at a young age, but caught the public's attention during her appearance on "America's Got Talent," where she finished as a quarter-finalist.
She went on to release her songs, some of which made waves on social media. The LSU star, who is currently signed to Roc Nation, has featured other popular artists in her song, including Pusha T and Lil Wayne.
On the court, Johnson is LSU's standout guard, averaging 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game, helping the Lady Tigers to the Elite Eight of the 2025 women's NCAA Tournament.
The Georgia native had the opportunity to enter the 2025 WNBA draft as one of the top picks, but chose to return to LSU. She is expected to be one of the leaders of the team for next season.
