Ahead of the upcoming NBA draft, the list of green room invitees has been unveiled. It has been standard procedure for decades for the NBA to invite expected draftees to join league personnel at the draft. After all, how to better snag that initial reaction shot of a new millionaire finding out his pro team?
With Jonathan Givony of ESPN breaking the news, here's a rundown of the 13 green room invitees so far.
NBA draft green room invitees

Cooper Flagg (Duke)
The presumptive top overall pick, the 6-foot-9 Flagg's inclusion is absolutely no surprise. The Wooden Award winner as a freshman, Flagg averaged 19.2 points per game for the Blue Devils.
Dylan Harper (Rutgers)
A 6-foot-6 guard, Harper is, of course, one of the pair of elite Rutgers prospects. He averaged 19.4 ppg in an All-Big Ten campaign.
Ace Bailey (Rutgers)
The other half of the Rutgers duo, Bailey isn't quite the 6-foot-10 that Rutgers listed as his height. But he is a major prospect, one who scored 17.6 ppg in an All-Big Ten season.
V.J. Edgecombe (Baylor)
The 6-foot-5 guard showed an impressive all-around game in his season at Baylor. Edgecombe averaged 15.0 ppg for the Bears.
Tre Johnson (Texas)
The 6-foot-6 guard was one of the most explosive scorers in college hoops. He averaged 19.9 ppg for the Longhorns in his lone collegiate season.
Khaman Maluach (Duke)
The 7-foot-2 center is largely a draft prospect on the basis of his impressive potential. He averaged 8.6 ppg and 6.6 rebounds per game in his season at Duke. He also shot 71% overall.
Jeremiah Fears (Oklahoma)
An explosive 6-foot-4 guard, Fears had an impressive freshman campaign with the Sooners. He averaged 17.1 ppg.
Kon Knueppel (Duke)
The 6-foot-7 Knueppel had a nice frosh season as the Robin to Cooper Flagg's Batman at Duke. He averaged 14.4 ppg and could have an outstanding pro career.
Kasparas Jakucionis (Illinois)
The 6-foot-6 Lithuanian guard had an impressive season with the Illini, averaging 15.0 ppg. His height and point guard skills make him intriguing.
Egor Demin (BYU)
Likewise for Demin, a 6-foot-9 Russian point guard. He averaged 10.6 ppg for BYU in his first and last college season.
Carter Bryant (Arizona)
A work in progress, the 6-foot-8 Bryant started only five games for Arizona. He averaged 6.5 ppg but flashed enough potential to jump into the lottery as a projected pick.
Derik Queen (Maryland)
The 6-foot-10 center from Maryland had a nice one-and-done season. Queen averaged 16.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg for the Terps.
Asa Newell (Georgia)
The athletic 6-foot-11 forward had a big year at Georgia. Newell averaged 15.4 ppg and 6.9 rpg for the Bulldogs.
Projected top NBA draft picks chosen
Interestingly, Givony's reported invitees constitute 12 of the top 13 on ESPN's draft board, with only French forward Noa Essengue missing. He'll be playing in Germany for his current team when the draft occurs. Newell is the only outlier, ranked at No. 21 on ESPN's draft board. And yes, each player listed was a one-and-done college player.
