Alabama vs. Houston Game Summary

The Alabama Crimson Tide were able to shoot the basketball at a decent level throughout the game as they were 22-of-60 (36.7%) from the floor, 11-of-30 (36.7%) from the 3-point line, and 30-of-41 (73.2%) from the free-throw line.

They dominated on the glass as they had 48 rebounds (20 offensive, 28 defensive) and dished out 14 assists on 22 field goals. The big issue was the fact they turned the ball over 15 times.

Defensively, the team did a good job as they gave up five steals and six blocks in the game. The Roll Tide stepped up and played well in the overtime period to secure the win.

The Houston Cougars were able to shoot the ball at an okay level as the team had a shooting split of 36.9/31.6/78.8 but the volume is significant. The Cougars made six threes and 26 free throws.

Houston did well on the glass as well with 16 of their 39 total rebounds being on the offensive glass. The defense is Houston’s calling card with 10 steals and 10 blocks. However, the team turned the ball over 10 times. The Cougars played at a good level but it was just not enough to win this game.
