LSU women's basketball star Flau'jae Johnson gave props to Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter on Friday. Hunter had a huge performance for the No. 25 Buffs in a 52-0 shutout win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Hunter had a dominant display against the Cowboys, on both sides of the field no less. He finished with 10 catches for 116 yards and three touchdowns on offense; on defense, he made two pass deflections and an interception as he made his presence known throughout the entire game.

Johnson reacted to Hunter's display on an Instagram story and she included a reference to his candidacy for the Heisman Trophy.

"We've never seen this before Heisman," she said.

Hunter now has 14 touchdowns on the year. He passed Nelson Spruce's 12 scores in 2014 for the most by a Colorado receiver in a season.

BetMGM currently has Hunter as the -1000 favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.

Flau'jae Johnson shares how she almost joined Miami over LSU

Johnson is having a solid season for the No. 7 LSU Tigers, averaging 22.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 steals on 54.5% shooting from the field and 39.4% from beyond the arc after eight games. Her last performance against No. 20 North Carolina State on Nov. 27 saw her finish with 16 points, three rebounds, and one assist on 5-of-7 shooting overall in 24 minutes of action.

However, her college career could have been much different. In a YouTube short published on Johnson's "Best of Both Worlds" podcast on Wednesday, Johnson revealed she had a chance to go to the University of Miami.

"I had a chance to go to Miami, but it's too fast for me. Me, knowing what I know now, I would be able to balance life and the party and all that because I don't even like to party, for real," she said. "But I am glad I did not go because I won a Natty my first year, so obviously, I made the right decision."

After winning a national championship in her first season, Johnson and the Tigers are looking like strong title contenders again this year as they've started the season 8-0.

No. 7 LSU will prepare for their next matchup, hosting North Carolina Central at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. ET.
