The Gonzaga Bulldogs took on the Davidson Wildcats in the 5th Place Game of the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis tournament on Friday. Gonzaga entered the game as the No. 3 team in the country with a 6-1 record on the season. The Bulldogs are coming off a dominant 89-73 win over Indiana on Thanksgiving.

The Wildcats, meanwhile, came into Friday night's bout with a 5-1 record through six games, coming off a 69-58 win over Providence on Thursday. Entering the matchup as an 18.5-point underdog, Davidson had their hands full against one of the nation's top teams.
Gonzaga took a 42-31 lead into the locker rooms at halftime, after going on a 16-3 run from 9:40 to 5:23 in the first half. The Bulldogs outscored the Wildcats 48-34 in the second half to secure a 90-65 win over Davidson, led by an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double from Graham Ike. Ben Gregg also had a big performance off the bench, scoring a game-high 24 points on 8-of-10 shooting.

Gonzaga vs. Davidson: Game Summary
After a back-and-forth start to the game, Gonzaga separated from Davidson with a 16-3 run following a basket from Zach Laput. After having their lead cut to 20-18, the Bulldogs kicked off the run with a basket from Ben Gregg.
With a 36-21 lead, Gonzaga left the door open for a run from Davidson. The Wildcats went on a 10-2 run but couldn't muster a significant comeback to close the first half. Gonzaga entered the locker rooms with a 42-31 lead at halftime.
The Bulldogs opened the second half with a 9-0 run to extend their lead to 51-31. Gonzaga carried this momentum down the stretch, topping the Wildcats 90-65 on Friday. They advanced to 7-1 on the season entering a highly anticipated matchup versus the No. 8 Kentucky Wildcats on Monday night.
