La La Anthony, mother of the Syracuse Orange signee Kiyan Anthony, attended the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards at Peacock Theater at L.A. Live on Monday. The 42-year-old American TV personality and actress was dressed in all black attire at the event.
She also shared a hilarious moment with American comedian and actor Druski and online streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat. Their backstage interaction was shared by Anthony on her Instagram account on Wednesday, as Cenat turned into a wingman and introduced La La Anthony to the comedian.
"These two @kaicenat & @druski 😂😂😂," the post was captioned.
The BET Awards honor various African-American entertainers in the film, sports, music and philanthropy industries. In the 2025 edition, rapper Kendrick Lamar took home five awards from 10 nominations, becoming the biggest winner of the night.
Anthony, who is known for her fashion style, was seen mingling with her celebrity friends backstage and also walking on the red carpet. She also presented the award for Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Artist, standing with LeToya Luckett and DeVon Franklin at the podium, as they presented the award to rapper and singer GloRilla.
Furthermore, Anthony also turned heads with her attire at the 2025 Met Gala in New York last month. She followed the "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" theme at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Anthony paid tribute to the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, wearing an Archive Off-White by Abloh with her black tailored satin pantsuit dress, combining it with Jimmy Choo pumps. She also shared pictures on her Instagram account on May 6.
"MET GALA 2025: Honored to be wearing Archive Off-White by Virgil Abloh. Virgil was a visionary who undeniably changed the game. Thank you to Shannon Abloh, Simon, & The entire @off____white team for allowing me to carry on the Off-White legacy at the Met. This is more than just a look, it’s a tribute."
