Iowa State signee Jada Williams congratulated tennis star Coco Gauff for her first Roland Garros title. Gauff produced a sensational comeback to defeat world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka 6-7 (5-7) 6-2 6-4 during Saturday's final. It was the second Grand Slam singles title of her career.
Following the win, Williams shared a clip from the final on her Instagram story, which showed Gauff shedding tears of joy.
"Congrats sis," Williams wrote.

Gauff, who has a net worth of $35 million (according to Celebrity Net Worth), is the first American woman to capture the singles title since Serena Williams in 2015. She is also the youngest after Williams since 2002. Gauff won over Sabalenka in a Grand Slam final for the second time after beating her at the 2023 U.S. Open.
"I was going through a lot of things when I lost this final three years ago, so it means a lot to be back and here and to win," Gauff said after the win. "The crowd really helped me today, you guys were cheering for me so hard. I don't know what I do to deserve so much love from the French crowd, but I appreciate you guys."
This is the first time the top two women's seeds competed in a Roland Garros final since Williams defeated Maria Sharapova in 2013.
Jada Williams plans to lead Iowa State to NCAA Tournament next season
In April, Jada Williams announced her decision to join Iowa State next season. She gave one reason for the move: to help the Cyclones win the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
"Our goal is to win a national championship next year," Williams said in April, via the Des Moines Register. "So, we're about to start putting in work in the next couple of months and get to it."
Williams finished her sophomore year with Arizona averaging a team-high 12.7 points and 2.9 assists, along with 3.5 rebounds per game. She also led the Wildcats in total minutes (916).
The 5-foot-8 guard was recruited as a replacement for Iowa State's all-time assist leader, Emily Ryan, who has exhausted her eligibility. Williams will link up with Addy Brown and Audi Crooks next season.
