Mikaylah Williams led the No. 7 LSU Tigers to an 82-65 victory over the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship Game on Wednesday. She scored 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting.

Williams got things started early on, making two shots, grabbing two rebounds, and creating an assist as she took a three-minute rest on the bench during the first quarter. She made her first basket 23 seconds into the game.

She was more aggressive in getting to the line in the second quarter. Even though she went 1-of-3 from the field, she converted all four of her free-throw attempts as she played all 10 minutes.

LSU held a 42-29 lead going into halftime. For Williams, she had 11 points, three rebounds and one assist on 3-of-6 shooting overall.

Mikaylah Williams made her biggest impact on the game in the third quarter. She scored 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting, with two of the shots she made being 3-pointers.

Even though LSU lost the third quarter 20-19, Williams' scoring helped protect the team's advantage over NC State going into the fourth quarter.

LSU began the final period with a 61-49 lead. Williams did not have as big an impact as she did in the prior quarter, but the Tigers did enough to prevent a Wolfpack rally and close out the Baha Mar Invitational as champions.

Williams' last successful play on offense came with 2:49 remaining in the game. She nailed a 3-pointer for her last attempt from downtown, ending the game 77-60 in LSU's favor.
