The first full day of the 2023 NCAA Tournament has wrapped up with the conclusion of 16 first-round games. Both teams were knocked out by double-digit seeds. Arizona lost to 15-seed Princeton by a 59-55 margin. It was the 11th time that a No. 15 team caused an upset a No. 2 seed in tournament history. It's the third consecutive time a No. 15 seed has knocked out a No. 2 seed.Tosan Evbuomwan led Princeton's charge with 15 points, while Azuolas Tubelis had 22 points for Arizona. Princeton earned a gritty win, gaining an 11-2 advantage on second-chance points.
