What Ruben Dominguez brings to Texas A&M
In signing Ruben Dominguez, Bucky McMillan's Texas A&M squad gains a sizeable shooting guard with valuable experience.

Dominguez stands at 6-foot-6 and is a sharp shooter, averaging 41.5% from beyond the arc with Bilbao Basket this season while putting up 6.6 points per game. The guard has played four years of professional basketball. His Bilbao Basket team is part of the Liga Endesa, Spain's top pro basketball league.

McMillan has added 14 roster additions ahead of his inaugural season with the Aggies. He has found success in the transfer portal and rounds out his roster with Dominguez, his sole international prospect.
Opinions vary on professional international players joining college programs, but Dominguez is a promising pickup for Texas A&M and will look to bring his scoring efficiency and experience to the team next season.

During her time attending UNC Chapel Hill and writing for The Daily Tar Heel, Lindsey was lucky enough to meet and speak with Williams a few times. He was like a celebrity on UNC’s campus and was beloved for his coaching style and success with the Tar Heels, accumulating three NCAA championship titles in 18 years.
