Flau'jae Johnson and Kailyn Gilbert ensured the No. 7 LSU Tigers' opening game in the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship against the Washington Huskies ended in dramatic fashion. The two junior guards combined for a sensational moment in the clutch.
The Tigers trailed by one with 12 seconds to go in the fourth quarter, and it all seemed lost when Johnson mishandled a pass from Last-Tear Poa. However, she made an incredible effort to save the loose ball, which Gilbert picked up at half-court. Gilbert then drove to the basket and made a layup that three Huskie players contested.
The ball hung at the rim for almost a second before dropping in, sending the Tigers bench into raptures. This saw the Tigers win the game 68-67.

Morrow recorded an impressive double-double as she nearly played every minute of the game. She finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds and two steals to record her 80th career double-double.
