The Army Black Knights have enjoyed an almost flawless 2024 college football season. The Black Knights enter Week 16 with an 11-1 record and will be poised to close out the year with statement victories.
Before the Black Knights' Week 16 matchup against the Navy, let's look at their projected starting quarterback and potential depth chart.

Army Black Knights' starting QB against the Navy in Week 16
Bryson Daily will start against the Navy Midshipmen in Week 16. The senior-year quarterback has been a consistent part of an excellent season for the Black Knights. He will be tasked with leading them against their Armed Forces rivals in their penultimate game of the season.
Daily is as gritty as they come, and his measured play has been crucial in most Army wins this season. The Abernathy-born quarterback might not be the shot-caller who throws for 200-plus yards a game, but you can be sure that he will protect the ball and use most of the weapons around him.
Daily is a squad captain and commands great respect among his teammates. His tough mentality has earned major plaudits this season, and he will look to continue a winning streak against the Midshipmen in Week 16.
Army Black Knights QB depth chart
According to College Football Network, the Black Knights have three quarterbacks on their active depth chart: starter Bryson Daily and backups Dewayne Coleman and Cale Hellums. Daily is the established shot caller, while Coleman and Hellums are next up.
Dewayne Coleman is the QB2 for the Black Knights and led the team in passing yards in the win against the Air Force Falcons this season. Coleman is in his junior year and hails from Selma, Texas. Due to his starring performance against the Falcons, he became the first Black Knights quarterback to record a win in their first start since 2020.
Next up on the depth chart is Cale Hellums, a sophomore-year quarterback from Tomball, Texas. Hellums has limited experience at the collegiate level, as he took his first snaps for the Army in 2024. He will look to do a job for the Black Knights if called upon.
