"Every game is a playoff game to us," Deion Sanders said, via the team website. "It's been that way all season. I think Shedeur (Sanders) made a comment early, that every game we play is like a darned Super Bowl to people — not only to them, but to us — and it is. So that's the way we're going into it. Every game is a playoff. It's a single-elimination tournament, and we plan on approaching all of them with passion, with purpose, with consistency, with focus, and that dog-like attitude."

The Buffaloes are led by Shedeur Sanders who's thrown for 2,591 yards, 21 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Travis Hunter leads the way with 757 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Defensively, Colorado is led by Hunter who has two interceptions and 20 tackles, Taje McCoy who has three sacks, and Cam'Ron Silmon-Craig who has 60 tackles.

Texas Tech picked up a big win over Iowa State, hurting the Cyclones' chances of making the playoffs. The Red Raiders still could play in the Big 12 championship game, but do need some help and that starts with beating Colorado.

The Red Raiders know stopping Colorado's offense will be difficult as coach Joey McGuire called Sanders the best quarterback in college football.

“In my opinion, Shedeur Sanders is the best quarterback in college football,” McGuire said, via DallasNews. “If I was an NFL GM and I had a pick to where I needed a quarterback, he’d be the first quarterback taken in this year’s draft. He should be, you know, I have a lot of respect for him.”

Texas Tech is led by Behren Morton who has thrown for 2,300 yards, 19 touchdowns and five interceptions. Tahj Brooks has rushed for 1,047 yards and 10 touchdowns, while Josh Kelly leads the way with 736 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Defensively, C.J. Bakersville and Chapman Lewis have three interceptions, and Jacob Rodriguez has three sacks while leading the team with 83 tackles.

This will be a high-scoring game as Colorado and Texas Tech have great offenses. But, the Buffaloes are clicking and off a bye week, Colorado should be well-prepared for this game against the Red Raiders.
