Georgia Tech vs Georgia is a matchup that will be greatly influenced by the injury report. The in-state rivals have both had strong seasons despite the injuries plaguing their respective rosters. No. 7-ranked Georgia (9-2) is coming off a 59-21 win over UMass and has a spot in the SEC Championship Game locked up. Georgia Tech is coming off a 30-29 win over NC State last Thursday.

#1 Ryland Goede

Tight end Ryland Goede has been out with a leg injury since leaving during the team's 41-34 win against UNC on October 12. However, he has been upgraded to questionable, so there is a possibility that he could play.

#2 Trelain Maddox

Running back Trelain Maddox has not had much of an opportunity to play in his rookie season. He has been out with a leg injury since the 31-19 loss to Louisville on September 21. He is questionable for Friday's game against Georgia.

#3 Jackson Long

Tight end Jackson Long has not been able to play at all this season. He has been missing from the lineup because of a knee injury he suffered before the season. Long will not appear in Friday's game against the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs have several players on their injury report. Coach Kirby Smart provided an update on several of these players in his media availability on Monday.

#1 Christen Miller

Defensive tackle Christen Miller is doubtful for Friday's game against the Yellow Jackets. He left Saturday's game against UMass in the first quarter after suffering a shoulder injury. He was quickly ruled out of the rest of the game.

#2 Trevor Etienne

Running back Trevor Etienne is not expected to return in the season finale after missing the past three games with a rib injury. He is listed as doubtful on the report, and according to Smart, has not been able to do anything with the team.

#3 Dillon Bell

Wide receiver Dillon Bell is questionable for Friday's game against Georgia Tech. He has been dealing with an ankle sprain, but it did not require surgery. Kirby Smart said that he is hopeful Bell will be available.
