Running back Ollie Gordon II and the Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-5, 0-5 Big 12) have not had the season many pundits expected at the start of the year. Part of the reason for Oklahoma State's downfall was Gordon sustaining an injury in a 38-14 loss to West Virginia on Oct. 5.

Although the injury forced Gordon to leave that game and has caused him to nurse lower-body injuries throughout the year, he has not missed a game yet. He always returns to the field when he is banged up, and he is expected to play today against Arizona State (5-2, 2-2).

Although this season has not gone as well as the former Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year had hoped, he does not want to give up on his team.
