Running back Raheim Sanders is one of the most important players in the offense for the South Carolina Gamecocks (3-2). However, his health has been a topic of conversation since he went down with an ankle injury on September 21st in a 50-7 win over Akron. Luckily for Sanders and the Gamecocks, they had an open week to follow, allowing Sanders to recover.
Although Sanders did not return to the game against Akron, he did not miss a game. He returned after the open week when the Gamecocks lost 27-3 to No. 9 Ole Miss (5-1) last week.
Raheim Sanders' injury update

There were no plays last week that showed he worsened his injury, so he should be available this week against the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide (4-1). He is not listed on the injury report.
What happened to Raheim Sanders?
Raheim Sanders was injured early in the game against Akron and was unable to return. He was later seen on the sideline wearing a boot.
