Wide receiver Tyler Brown has struggled to stay healthy this season, missing two games, including last week against Florida State. The No. 10-ranked Clemson Tigers will play the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET, and Brown's status is in doubt. He is listed as questionable with an ankle injury on the injury report.
Tyler Brown injury update
Tyler Brown has struggled with an ankle injury since the second game of the season against Appalachian State. The sophomore was expected to make the jump this season but has only played one healthy game.

After leaving the contest against Appalachian State early, he did not return. Then, although he was not listed on the pregame availability report, he did not dress in Week 3 against NC State.
Brown was able to return on Sept. 29 against Stanford but only recorded one reception for seven yards in limited playing time. Although the coaching staff has not confirmed it, it appears he reaggravated his injury after he did not play last Saturday in a 29-13 win over Florida State.
Heading into this week's game against Wake Forest, the coaching staff have not provided an official update on Brown. He is still listed as questionable on the injury report.
What happened to Tyler Brown?
Brown suffered an ankle injury in the second game of the season against Appalachian State. He only had one reception in the game before the injury, where he recorded negative two yards. Despite the team having an open week in Week 3, Brown was not available against NC State when the team played next.
He suited up against Stanford on Sept. 28 but did not participate much. Brown then did not play last week against Florida State.
When will Tyler Brown return?
It is not clear when Brown will return. His ankle injury has caused him to miss two full games this season already, and there has not been an update on his status for Saturday against Wake Forest. Without an update, it could be an indication that he will not be available.
Brown was expected to step up as one of the top wide receiver options this season. Last year he had a tremendous end of the season, starting with his 153-yard performance against Syracuse. He finished with 519 yards and four touchdowns last season. This year, however, he only has 30 yards on five receptions.
