The Maryland Terrapins go on the road to play the Oregon Ducks on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network.

Maryland (4-4, 1-4 Big Ten) is coming off a 48–23 road loss to Minnesota. Oregon (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) is coming off a 38–17 road win over Michigan and is ranked No. 1 in the playoff committee's first rankings.

Maryland vs Oregon: Preview

Maryland is a 25-point road underdog. The over/under is set at 57.5 points.

The Terrapins are 1-3 in the last four as Maryland is off to a disappointing season. Maryland needs two wins out of its final four games to be bowl-eligible, but the Terrapins also play Penn State, so the team must beat Rutgers and Iowa.

Maryland is led by Billy Edwards Jr. who's thrown for 2,314 yards, 13 touchdowns and six interceptions. Roman Hemby has rushed for 403 yards and four touchdowns, while Tai Felton has caught 73 passes for 907 yards and six touchdowns.

The Terrapins are led defensively by Glendon Miller and Jalen Huskey has three picks, Kellan Wyatt has 3 sacks, and Ruben Hyppolite II leads the team with 39 tackles.

Oregon, meanwhile, is atop the college football rankings. It ended its season with three unranked matchups. Oregon should cruise to a Big Ten Championship Game and a spot in the college football playoff.

Entering this game, the Ducks have some key injuries as Oregon could be without leading receiver Tez Johnson and starting offensive lineman Marcus Harper II this week against Maryland.

However, coach Dan Lanning is confident in his team's depth.

"I'm confident we have a plan," Lanning said, via Register Guard. "There's a lot of guys that can play winning football for us right now. Who that'll be come Saturday, I'll leave that for us to figure out in-house, but we've got a lot of guys that can play winning football for us and there will be some guys that will step up like they have all season."

Oregon is led by Dillon Gabriel who's thrown for 2,665 yards, 19 touchdowns and five interceptions. Jordan James has rushed for 917 yards and nine touchdowns. Johnson leads the team with 649 receiving yards and eight touchdowns but he could be out of the lineup.

Defensively, the Ducks are led by Tysheem Johnson, who has two interceptions, Matayo Uiagelelei's 5.5 sacks and Bryce Boettcher's 53 tackles.

Oregon should be able to cruise to a lopsided win here. Maryland's defense has struggled all season long while its offense is legit. The Terrapins also have to travel to the West Coast, an issue for Big Ten teams this season.

Prediction: Oregon 47, Maryland 14.
