West Virginia (6-6, 5-4 Big 12) finished the regular season with a 52-15 defeat against Texas Tech. They even fired coach Neal Brown after the matchup. However, the Mountaineers got their six wins previously to qualify for a bowl game and interim head coach Chad Scott will be on the sidelines for the Frisco Bowl.

West Virginia will start Garrett Greene as its quarterback. The senior signal-caller will suit up and play his last game for the Mountaineers on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, Memphis (10-2, 6-2 AAC) heads into its bowl game on the back of a three-game win streak. The Tigers beat Tulane 34-24 in their final regular-season game. Although Memphis didn't make the AAC championship game, it finished in the final CFP Top 25.
The Tigers will start quarterback Seth Henigan on Tuesday night and it will be his final game with the program.
