Heisman hopeful Ashton Jeanty was once a military brat, which means his childhood was mostly spent on the move. His father, Harry Jeanty, was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. As a child, he lived in Georgia, Florida, Virginia and even abroad in Naples, Italy.
It was at that last destination that he faced one of the toughest tests of his then-fledgling football career. When he arrived in Italy, there wasn't any football program at the middle school level in the country, and he was forced to stop playing. After getting back into rhythm with Naples High School, a DoD school in Naples, his family decided to move to Frisco, Texas.

There, he started for Lone Star High School and eventually earned an offer from Boise State University. The rest, as they, is history.
The story has now been recounted by CBS Sports in a touching video where the protagonists speak about Jeanty's journey from a military brat to a Heisman Trophy candidate.
Ashton Jeanty's NIL valuation: $1.4 Million
Ashton Jeanty has also reaped the rewards of his spectacular season in financial terms. His NIL deals are valued at $1.4 million by On3, and he ranks 15th among all college football players in the nation in NIL valuation. He's 34th among all collegiate athletes.
The money seems to come entirely from a deal with a Pioneer League baseball team, the Boise Hawks, although there's some booster action in the middle.
