Miami Hurricanes QB Carson Beck transferred from Georgia to Miami during the offseason. It was a big decision for him as he will try to get back some of the hype he lost during his final season as a Bulldog. After spending four years at Georgia, it was likely challenging for Beck, who has an estimated NIL value of $4.3 million, to decide to leave.
Another factor that could have made the decision to leave difficult was leaving his sister. Carson Beck's sister, Kylie Beck, is a cheerleader at Georgia and finished her sophomore season this year. On Friday, she hopped on Instagram to showcase her feelings after reaching the midway point of her college career.
"Blessed that God planted this decision within me!" Beck wrote. "This path I've chosen has never been more clear. A dawg for 2 more years... The rumors are terrible and cruel!!!!!"

Following Carson Beck's transfer to Miami, there were rumors that Kylie would also be leaving the Bulldogs. She initially announced that she planned to follow her brother to Florida. However, now, based on this new post on her Instagram story where she wrote, "A Dawg for two more years," she appears to be headed back to Georgia.
Kylie Beck defended her brother, Carson Beck, after his breakup with Miami basketball star Hanna Cavinder
One of the reasons Carson Beck decided to transfer to Miami was to be close to his then-girlfriend, Hurricanes basketball star Hanna Cavinder. However, in March, the couple broke up amid rumors of Beck's cheating online.
Beck received a lot of criticism and hate online, but his sister defended him. She made several posts on social media defending him.
"May you love yourself enough to respect when enough is enough, and must the courage to walk away," Kylie Beck quoted in a post.
She then criticized people online for criticizing her brother so heavily when they do not know the details of what happened between the couple.
"Since when did social media become a trial, constantly having to defend and stand up for the people you love," Beck wrote. "This world is hypocritical and holds unrealistic standards for human beings. You can be loud and stand on your truth, but make sure it is THE truth.
"The hatred, the narratives, and seeking to bring someone down is inhumane and disgusting."
Carson Beck will still be at Miami next season despite his breakup with Hanna Cavinder.
