Potential combination of Ryan Williams and Brandon “Dash” Arrington Jr. could make Alabama deadly
Brandon "Dash" Arrington Jr. has not committed to any school yet. The highest ranked athlete from the Class of 2026 is ranked No. 9 overall in the nation and top ranked in California, where he attended Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley.
If Arrington does end up committing to the Crimson Tide, it would drastically improve the odds of Kalen DeBoer's program winning the national championship. Ryan Williams, last season's star freshman, is also expected to improve after recording 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
According to On3's Prediction Machine, Texas A&M has an 81.7% chance of landing him, followed by USC (4.6%, primary recruiter Doug Belk), Oregon (3.3%), and Alabama (2.8%, JaMarcus Shephard).
In terms of visits, Arrington has visited the USC Trojans four times, Oregon three times and Alabama three times.
"My speed," Arrington said to On3 on the reason behind his impressive scouting report. "I feel like my track times benefit me for getting these big offers because colleges love speed."
As a freshman, Arrington won the 150-meter title and finished fourth in the 60-meter dash at the California Winter Outdoor Championships.
