Army projected starting lineup and depth chart for Independence Bowl | 2024 college football season 

Despite the season-ending loss to Navy, the Army Black Knights will look to finish a historic season on a high note when they face the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in the Independence Bowl on Saturday.

Army (11-2) was originally supposed to face Marshall in a game that would have pitted the AAC and Sun Belt conference champions. However, the Thundering Herd withdrew from the game due to the high number of players entering the transfer portal after a coaching change. Louisiana Tech (5-7) subsequently took the spot and will be facing off against the Black Knights instead.

There will be an important piece missing for Army as running back Kanye Udoh entered the transfer portal. Udoh was second on the team with 1,117 rushing yards in 2024.

Army is looking for the first 12-win season in Academy history in Saturday’s game in Shreveport, Louisiana.
