No one likes to come second, and Bill Belichick's girlfriend Jordon Hudson can testify to that. On Tuesday, she penned a tribute to her best friend and 2024 Miss Massachusetts USA pageant winner Melissa Sapini.
Hudson shared several images of the two, including one where they posed courtside at a University of North Carolina basketball game with mascot Rameses.
In the caption, Hudson recalled the final moments of the dual-state pageant for Maine and Massachusetts in March 2024. She described coming first runner-up feeling like a "death sentence."

"In the final moments before parading back on stage to learn the judges’ verdicts, we exchanged mutually assuring 'you got this,'" Hudson wrote. "Next thing I know, my head is bowed on center-stage as Sal delivers the final verdict, which at the time felt like a death sentence. 1st Runner-Up."
Hudson revealed that she let out a fake smile.
"Like a good loser, I mustered up the best fake smile I could," Hudson wrote. "Minutes later, as the starry crown was placed over your perfect bun, my fake smile became an involuntary one."
Jordon Hudson compared the emotional scene from Inside Out where Bing Bong sacrifices himself to help Joy escape.
"It felt like that unnecessarily emotional scene from Inside Out when Bing Bong whispers to himself “take Riley to the moon” as Joy ascends on the rocket and he fades into obscurity," Hudson added.
"I had hoped the stars would align for us to share the titleholder experience, but I was happy that my friend was Universe-bound on her rocket."
Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, champions Melissa Sapini’s next chapter
In the same post, Jordon Hudson also revealed that she became an admirer of her rival-turned best friend Melissa Sapini, flocking in support of the 2024 Miss Massachusetts at Miss USA 2024.
"From being your pack-mule, to jumping like an orangutan as you placed Top 10 at Miss USA, I had the most fulfilling experience watching you shine this year," Hudson wrote.
"You did more than hold the title, you embodied what it meant to be Queen of the Commonwealth; never missing an opportunity to represent and serve the Peoples."
Melissa is now pivoting to an exciting career in entertainment journalism. Hudson revealed Sapini’s next move: a role as a Hollywood entertainment reporter, calling it a “new reign” for the queen she had supported from backstage to Miss USA's national stage.
"Congratulations on completing this chapter, Queenie," Hudson concluded. "I can’t wait to watch you step into your reign as Melissa Sapini, Hollywood Entertainment Reporter Extraordinare!!!"
As for Jordon Hudson, she navigates through the backlash that followed after the controversial interview of Bill Belichick with CBS.
