Penn State Nittany Lions' Drew Allar is ranked the No. 7 quarterback in the CBS Sports NFL Prospect Rankings, cementing his position as one of the most intriguing NFL draft prospects next season.
On Tuesday's "The McShay Show," Todd McShay and Steve Muench broke down Allar's performance and pointed out one of his weaknesses, suggesting better visualization before he kicks off the 2025 season.
"Because he's got a big arm, he goes through progressions he hits some a lot of really impressive throws... But there's elements that we talked about ... certain kind of throws where he's got to visualize things better," McShay said.

But at the same time, McShay noted the effectiveness of his visualization in tandem with his wide receivers.
"He's deadly accurate," McShay said (Timestamp: 23:16). "When the receiver is facing him, sees his number or sharp cutting horizontal or crosser, when it's like in front of him, he's deadly accurate. ... If he can visualize it, he's not good, he's great."
In the 2024 season, he completed 69% of passes for 2,894 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Instead of declaring for the 2025 NFL draft, he returned to Penn State for his third season and led the Nittany Lions to win two college football playoff games, against SMU (38-10) and Boise State (31-14), during the Orange Bowl in January.
