Clemson HC Dabo Swinney praises 3 star WR Ryder Treadway's efficiency: "This is the best route-runner at camp"

Clemson Tigers' coach Dabo Swinney has praised three-star wide receiver Ryder Treadway for his efficiency, making him "every camper’s dream." Treadway, a WR prospect from Wakeland High School, class of 2025, showcased his skills at the Clemson football camp, moving fluidly and impressing with his route-running ability.

Coach Swinney even pointed him out to the camera, declaring Treadway as:

“This is the best route-runner at camp."

Ryder's football statistics are impressive, with 75 points and an average of 4.7 points per game. Accumulating 1085 yards and achieving 12 total touchdowns, Ryder has shown that he can be a valuable player with a knack for finding the end zone.

The talented WR prospect stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 190 lbs. He has earned a spot on the 1st Team All-District and maintains a 4.0 GPA as a top 10% student.

Treadway holds an NCAA ID number and is actively being recruited by colleges. According to QbHitList, Treadway has received offers from several colleges, including Tulsa, Toledo, Air Force, Princeton, Brown and Dartmouth.

Coach Dabo Swinney is under the spotlight after his program did not acquire any player from the transfer market this offseason. Despite a solid 9-4 finish last season, the Tigers' absence from the College Football Playoff has turned up the heat.

With a strength of schedule ranked 26th nationally, featuring heavyweights like Georgia and South Carolina, the path to redemption won't be easy. The Tigers' showdown with Florida State on October 5th in Tallahassee is circled in red on the calendar, as ESPN's power index gives them a fighting 26.9% chance to claw their way into the expanded playoffs.
